House league soccer is a Glen Ellyn Park District program run with the assistance of Glen Ellyn Youth Soccer Organization. This volunteer-driven program teaches soccer skills while promoting good sportsmanship, physical conditioning and having fun. There are ten age levels for boys and girls, Pre-Kindergarten through 10th grade.

Spring House Soccer begins in April with information available in the Winter Activity Guide.
TeamsTeams are newly formed each season. The size of the ball and field are proportional to the age of the participants to help foster soccer skills, rule knowledge, and game strategies. A waitlist will be created after the regular registration deadline. Please note that the Park District cannot guarantee team placement after the deadline.

Uniforms & EquipmentTeam uniforms consisting of t-shirt (Pre-K to 2nd) and jersey/shorts (3rd-10th) are provided by the Park District. Shin guards must be worn under socks and all eyewear must be protective. Players must bring their own ball to practice. |
CoachesAll teams are coached by parent volunteers. Anyone interested in volunteering may indicate their interest when registering their child or by calling call the soccer coordinator at (630) 858-2462. There will be a maximum of two coaches (one head coach and one assistant coach) per team. Children of coaches are placed on their team. Click here for more information on coaching. |
Practices & GamesGames are played at Ackerman Park (800 St. Charles Road, Glen Ellyn) on Saturdays between 8am and 3pm. Practices are held once a week for one hour according to the volunteer coach’s schedule. Practice locations are also dependent on coach’s availability. All practices are held within Glen Ellyn. Pre-K soccer will play on Saturdays only, with teams practicing prior to game kick-off. View field maps and locations. |
