This two-fold travel program for girls and boys provides sideline cheering and halftime routines at the Golden Eagles Tackle Football games as well as participation in dance and cheer competitions in the Chicagoland area. We teach technical cheer fundamentals and sideline cheers, along with short dance and cheer routines. Cheerleaders learn technical skills including stunting, mounting and a variety of jumps.
Each squad cheers weekly and competes in two competitions against other recreational cheer programs in the Chicago area. While no prior experience is necessary, it is helpful to have dance or gymnastics skills at the older age levels. However, nothing can replace a good attitude, a sparkling smile and a commitment to your teammates.
